This package covered the lives of those who live and work within a 10-block radius of Midland, Michigan's historic Ashman Circle. Inspired by The Washington Post's Ten Blocks from the Capitol, it saw several Update staffers interviewing members of the public to discover the stories that lay behind the decades-old district.
